A video essay by Way Too Indie on Wes Anderson’s use of mise-en-scène & visual themes. Wes Anderson is certainly one of the best auteurs today. Another such filmmaker is Jean-Pierre Jeunet. In today’s filmmaking where everyone copies from everyone, it is much harder to carve out your own unique signature visual style compared to the pioneers.
